I haven't put up anything but class photographs in awhile and I was starting to wonder about my lack of painting. I normally have some time I could devote to new paintings, I just noticed that I haven't been doing it. At all. Excepting that I'm still working on my Aunt's painting for Christmas but it takes a long time to do.

Although, if I think about it, I think I do paint quite a bit, but it's more often painting furniture for my apartment. I'm actually in the middle of painting my railing in my livingroom and finished painting and covering a small dresser for my art stuff today. I also spend a lot of time planning other stuff for decorating my house. That, and I am simply required right now to make a lot of photographs, so I think I'm getting my creativity out there even though I'm not painting.

I just worry because I haven't felt like making a painting in a very long time. I didn't even do it over the summer when I had nothing else to do. Hopefully I haven't lost my creative painting skills... well, interest if not skills.

Oh well, guess I'll just have to see if I can get back in to it once I get out of photography and don't have to pour all of my creativity out that way.
